Cycle of Unity – Pedaling for Inclusion and Sustainability
“Cycle of Unity” is an upcoming Erasmus+ youth exchange taking place in the Pieniny region of Poland.Young people from seven European countries will come together to promote social inclusion, diversity, and sustainable living — all through the power of cycling. We believe the bicycle can be a tool for building bridges between people of different backgrounds and needs, while also caring for the environment and our health.
What will happen?
Participants will take part in an international exchange where group bike rides, workshops, and discussions will raise awareness about the inclusion of young people with fewer opportunities — including those with disabilities, from rural areas, or ethnic minorities. They will also create educational materials and campaigns promoting an eco-friendly lifestyle, to be shared both online and within local communities.
Key activities:
Mobile cycling workshops adapted to the needs of participants with disabilities
Discussions and sessions on social inclusion, cultural diversity, and environmental protection
Group cycling trips promoting sustainable mobility and green values
Creative work on digital materials — videos, guides, and social media content
Cultural evenings, inclusive team games, and reflection sessions using Youthpass tools
What will young people gain?
Participants will increase their awareness of ecological and social issues, improve their skills in international teamwork, and develop competencies such as communication, empathy, and project management.Young people with fewer opportunities will feel empowered and included, and all participants will receive Youthpass certificates, supporting their future education and career paths.
This project will not only support personal growth — it will also inspire local communities to embrace inclusion and promote sustainable living.
